เป็นที่ทราบกันดีว่าในวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์นั้น ความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยในการสนทนาเป็นการศึกษาเพื่ออธิบายความเข้าใจถึงใจความแท้จริงที่ถูกสื่อสารเพื่อสื่อความหมายในการสนทนานั้นมีมากกว่าสิ่งที่ถูกกล่าวเป็นคำพูดวัตถุประสงค์ประการแรกของการศึกษาในครั้งนี้คือเพื่อศึกษาประเภทของความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยในบทสนทนาในภาพยนตร์เรื่องเบรคทั้งดอว์น (Breaking ID) ประการที่สองคือเพื่อศึกษาผลของการกล่าวความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยในสองกรณีคือกรณีที่ผู้ฟังเข้าใจความหมายขี้บ่งเป็นนัยและกรณีที่ผู้ฟังไม่เข้าใจความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยที่ปรากฏในภาพยนตร์เรื่องเบรคทั้งดอว์นสมิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ ได้แก่ ความถี่และค่าร้อยคะส่วนการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาในการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาการศึกษาในครั้งนี้อาศัยหลักการเรื่องความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยของไกรซ์ (Grice, 1975) โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในด้านของเรื่องคติความร่วมมือในการสื่อสาร (Conversational Muxins) ผลการวิจัยพบว่าความหมายที่บ่งเป็นนัยที่พบในบทสนทนาในภาพยนตร์เรื่องเบรคทั้งดอว์นมีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 60 ข้อความด้านการศึกษาประเภทของความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยที่พบในบทสนทนาพบว่าแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ประเภทคือประเภทที่หนึ่งความหมายขี้บ่งเป็นนัยในการสนทนาแบบทั่วไปและประเภทที่สองความหมายที่บ่งเป็นนัยในการสนทนาแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงโดยประเภทที่สองนำมาใช้ในการสนทนามากกว่าคือพบถึง 52 ข้อความ (52, 86. 67%) ในขณะที่ความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยในการสนทนาแบบทั่วไปพบว่ามีการในมาใช้ในการสนทนา 8 ข้อความ (t = 8, 13. 33%) การใช้ความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นนัยในการสนทนาที่พบเกือบทั้งหมดมีผลทำให้ผู้ฟังเข้าใจความความแฝงได้ (r-59, 98. 33%) มีความหมายขี้บ่งเป็นนัยในบทสนทนาเพียง 1 ข้อความที่มีผลทำให้ผู้ฟังไม่เข้าใจความความแฝง (-1, 16 พ.) ผลการวิจัยแสดงให้เห็นว่าการใช้หลักคติบทคุณภาพหรือหลักคุณภาพนั้นสามารถพบได้มากที่สุด กรณีการใช้เสียดสีและอุปลักษณ์ ในการสร้างความหมายชี้บ่งเป็นในการสนทนาพบมากที่สุดในงานวิจัย
In pragmatics, conversational implicature is known to account for the foremost perception of more being communicated being said. The purposes of this research were 1) to investigate types of conversational implicatures produced in the film, and 2) to examine the results of producing conversational implicature in terms of being understood by the hearer (success) and being misunderstood by hearer (failure) in the film. The samples were the utterances drawn from dialogues in the film Breaking Dawn. The statistics used to analyze the quantitative data frequency and percentage whereas the qualitative data were analyzed by descriptive method using content analysis. This research was conducted in line with the theory of Grice's conversational implicatures (1975), especially in terms of conversational maxims. The results revealed that there were 60 conversational implicatures produced through the film and two types of conversational implicatures were found. Moreover, particularized conversational implicatures (PCI) were more frequently produced (f=52, 86.67%), and generalized conversational implicatures (GCI) were less frequently produced (f= 8, 13.33%). Almost all conversational implicatures found in this file dialogues were understand by the listeners (f = 59, 98. 33%). Only one toparticularized conversational implicature Was Married wing rnituraderstood by the rear (f, 167%). In addition, the conversational inplicatures wrennot produced arror the principle of floating snakin of quality. Additionally, sarcasm and metaphor were the snajor tools used by the sneakers to produce particularized conversational implicatures.
