การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการทำวัฒนธรรมให้เป็นสินค้าท่องเที่ยว รูปแบบสินค้าท่องเที่ยว
ในภาคอีสาน และเพื่อศึกษาความหมายของสินค้าการท่องเที่ยวจากมุมมองของผู้ผลิต และจากมุมมองของชุมชน ใช้วิธี
การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลภาคสนามจากแหล่งท่องเที่ยว และข้อมูลเอกสาร สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ นำเสนอ
ผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กระบวนการทำวัฒนธรรมให้เป็นสินค้าท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่ศึกษามี
ลักษณะเฉพาะ โดยมีสถาบันทางสังคมเป็นผู้มีความสัมพันธ์การผลิต การแบ่งหน้าที่ปฏิบัติงาน การร่วมแรงทำงานตาม
วิธีการผลิต การครอบครองปัจจัยการผลิต การแบ่งปันผลประโยชน์ และพัฒนาทรัพยากรท่องเที่ยว สินค้าท่องเที่ยวใน
ภาคอีสานจำแนกได้ 6 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ การท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศ การท่องเที่ยวศาสนา การท่องเที่ยวประวัติศาสตร์ การท่อง
เที่ยวโบราณคดี การท่องเที่ยววัฒนธรรม และการท่องเที่ยวประเพณี สังคมอีสานในปัจจุบันมีวิธีการผลิตแตกต่างจาก
อดีตซึ่งมีวิถีการผลิตแบบยังชีพ ดังนั้นกระบวนการทางสังคมจึงเป็นผู้ให้ความหมายเพิ่มขึ้นในฐานะผู้ผลิตและผู้บริโภค
กำหนดบทบาทหน้าที่สินค้าและบริการ รูปแบบและความหมายใหม่ของหัตถกรรม อาหาร ประเพณี การฉลองสมโภช
ล้วนถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อตอบสนองในชีวิตประจำวัน ดังนั้นคนกับวัตถุจึงมีความสัมพันธ์ทางสัญลักษณ์ ทางด้านจิตใจ ซึ่ง
เป็นความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความหมายปรนัย กับความหมายเชิงสังคม
The objectives of research were to
investigate the cultural making process of tourism
products, forms of tourism products, and the
definition of tourism products reflected by the
makers and communities in the Northeast Thailand.
The research method used was qualitative.
The data collected included documents, fieldwork
data, printed materials. The research results
presented descriptively and they were as follows:
The cultural commodification process of tourism
products were made and distributed specifically
and characterized. The social institutions
involved. All was relation of production, division
of labour, a joint-work based on mode of production,
procession of the means of production, benefit
sharing, and development of tourism. There were
6 model of cultural commodification of tourism
products: An eco-tourism, a religious tourism, a
historical tourism, an archaeological tourism, a
cultural tourism model and a traditional tourism
model. Current method of the cultural tourism
mode of production in Isan differed from what
it used to be in the part. In the part, people had
subsistence production. The social process then
provided an expansion of meaning being both
producers and consumers defining the role of
products and services, formats and meaning of
handicrafts, food, tradition, and celebration. All
was created to meet the needs in everyday life.
Man and materials were symbolically related
mentally and between objectives and social
meanings.
